Dell PERC Series 8 RAID Controller
PRODUCT LANUCH VIDEO
Dell’s next-generation Series 8 PERC RAID Controller launch video highlights the need for a new generation of MegaRAID storage controllers to meet the demands of today’s digital media deluge. Dell wanted the video to implement engaging, advanced technology in order to promote the Dell PERC Series 8 for sales and training purposes.
Shot and produced at HolderComm’s Studios, this futuristic video features a professional actor with some mind-bending special effects. HolderComm’s team worked with product managers and engineers, using white papers and other internal documentation, to develop a script and storyboards for presentations. Next HolderComm cast talent and created the studio props to mimic the look of feel of a “Minority Report” world.

In order to highlight LSI’s new tagline ‘Storage. Networking. Accelerated.’ in conjunction with LSI’s global technology innovation conference, HolderComm auditioned a variety of talented visual artist including a knife juggler, fire breathing unicyclist and wizard accordion player, but finally chose this lyrical performance for LSI’s 12 Gigabit per second SAS launch video.
Convention attendees, vendors and salespeople alike were fixated on this engaging visual treat while attending demonstrations for Cloud Data Centers and Virtualized Server Environments powered by LSI SAS technology.
NCSC Dark Matter Survey
SOLUTION STORY FOR SSD ACCELERATION
Holder Comm traveled to the National Center for Super Computing at the University of Illinois to profile LSI Technology and CacheCade Software solutions that are powerful enough to support the Dark Energy Survey. NCSC applications provide data management solutions for some of the most challenging astronomical projects ever conceived.
Holder Comm interviewed computer scientists who were critical in the design and implementation of the compute systems required to process, store and analyze data collected from astronomers at scientific institutions across the globe.

Supporting over 100,000 businesses with hosting and cloud computing, and utilizing LSI technology, Rackspace’s MegaData Center is located in San Antonio, Texas. We interviewed their Principal Technologist, Joel Wineland, and got an inside look at their unique operations.
HolderComm developed the storyline, filmed on site, directed all aspects of the video production. The case study was unveiled at LSI’s annual global sales conference and technology training event.
